An aquarium is often the most eye-catching thing in a room, so it deserves more than a tank placed on whatever furniture happens to be nearby. An aquarium with cabinet is a complete set in which the tank, the cabinet and the cover are designed together. The result looks like a single, finished piece of furniture, and every part fits perfectly: the cabinet carries the full weight of the water, the cover hides the lighting and the doors hide the filter, cables and equipment.

The aquarium – made of 8 mm, 10 mm or 12 mm glass depending on size, with clear or black silicone,
The cabinet – made to the exact footprint of the tank, with doors for storing equipment,
The cover (lid) – in the same colour as the cabinet, to hide lighting and reduce evaporation,
Glass lids and an aquarium mat – so the tank sits evenly on the cabinet.
The cabinet is what you see every day, so we offer a range of finishes that work in modern homes. Recent sets include California walnut, Murano walnut, Cupria slate (Egger), dark grey high-gloss, metallic grey and white with an aged-wood effect. For a more industrial look we build cabinets on a powder-coated metal frame with adjustable feet and push-to-open doors. If you have a colour in mind, ask us – we can make the cabinet and the matching cover in a different colour or size.
Designer sets: cube and triple cube aquariums
Not every aquarium has to be long. Our triple cube sets place three cube tanks side by side in one modern cabinet, creating three separate living pictures in one piece of furniture. The CUBE Black set uses three 60 x 60 cm tanks of different heights, while the Triple Cube aquarium set with rocks and LED lamps arrives with a ready-made scape. For smaller spaces, the 50 x 50 cm cube aquarium with cabinet and lid is a stylish choice for any water type.
Why buy a matching cabinet instead of a separate stand
Water weighs about 1 kg per litre, so even a 5ft set holds roughly half a tonne once it is full. A matching aquarium cabinet is built for exactly that load and for exactly that footprint – the tank never overhangs and the weight is spread evenly. Ordinary furniture is not designed for this, and an uneven surface puts stress on the glass. A matching cabinet also gives you a clean, tidy look: the filter, heater, CO2 bottle and cables stay out of sight behind the doors.

Can I order a cabinet in my own colour?
Yes. We regularly make cabinets and covers in different colours and sizes. Tell us the finish you have in mind and the dimensions of your space.
Is the lighting included?
It depends on the set. Some designer sets include LED lamps; on others the lamp in the photos is for illustration only. The product description always lists exactly what is in the set.
Can I use the set for a marine aquarium?
Many of our sets are suitable for all water types. If you plan a reef tank with a sump, let us know before ordering so we can plan the cabinet space for it.
